HELP for the RFG Web Sites

IMPORTANT: For those who are using Windows XP Service Pack 2, who may have to adjust your security settings to use all the features of our sight. If you have all pop up windows blocked, some of the diagrams and special pages will not display. You can correct that by clicking on the Internet Explorer "Security Bar" and choosing "Allow Blocked Content". You may need to do this for Order Forms as well, if after pressing the submit order button, nothing happens.

NETSCAPE 8.0 Browser users: To use all the features of our site "Open requested pop-ups in a new Tab", must be unchecked. You can do that by clicking on the shield symbol on the tab or by going to Options than Site Controls.

Most of the links on the RFG Home page open windows or take you to other sections of our web site. Most of the pages are informational. To order any of our products, click the link to our Online Catalog. The ERECTOR, AUTO-RAMA, ALL ABOARD, GALLERY and HISTORY links, open separate web site areas.

It is the number to the far left on each page.

Note: Parts diagrams only have part numbers, you must refer to the parts pages for prices.

First, choose the category of parts you are looking for from the links at the bottom of the screen, eg. ACCESSORY PARTS, click on it.
A list of parts will appear in the left frame. Use the scroll bar, to scroll down the list.
Parts are grouped into Accessory, Car or other similar groups. Also included is an example picture, that can be displayed by clicking a link.
Some pages, like the Steam Engine parts page have parts diagrams included in the listing, for helping with part identification. Also. the Steam and Diesel pages have links to complete parts diagrams for different types of engines.
You can also use our American Flyer Photo Galleries, accessed from the RFG Home page, to help in equipment identification.

To order a part, find the part in the parts listing and type the information, Part # etc., in the order form in the right hand frame.
You can use the Calculator, which will appear in the left frame, to help total your order.
When finished with the parts, fill out the top of the order form, then scroll down to the bottom of the order form, and click the submit button. Wait for the thank you screen to appear, and you're done.
